On Sunday, against all my mothers warnings i brought an old sewing machine. Enchanted by its retro wooden paneling and exciting heavy duty dials i couldn't wait to get it home, After lugging the bloody thing over 3 fields and spending the next 2 days ripping my hair out trying to make it work, i'm still no closer to my dream machine.
Luckily i've had my mums new (not so cool but blissfully easy to use) machine and i've been playing around with some cushion designs. I've taken a photo of some of the fabrics and designs i've already done and a shot of some beautiful threads i found in a charity shop. My next experiment is with bleach dying......wish me luck!
